I thought I would try out a new concept. I get asked a lot by people who meet me for the first time or friends and past clients- "You must see some great deals?" So, you can see where I am going. These are homes, condos, land around Gainesville that for one reason or another strike me as a great deal:

The Links in Haile Plantation- this is an end unit, upper floor, former model that was purchased for $190,000 and is going to be offered (not on the market yet) for $159,900.

Mentone- this home was purchased for $239,000 and is listed for $205,000. It is vacant and I am told it could be purchased for much less than current price. Three bedroom with wood floors in a great area for UF/Shands.

My Avalon listing is back on the market. If you are looking for the best deal on a 4 bedroom/3 bathroom pool home zoned for Chiles Elem, then this is the deal. Currently priced at $282,000.

Looking for bank owned properties in Gainesville? NW Gainesville home in the 5900 block off NW 23rd Ave (few blocks from me) at $162k. Some of these homes are not in the best condition, but Wells Fargo has a great new loan program where they can loan you up to 110% of home value which includes repairs/remodel through Home Depot or Sears. This is an FHA product and would have a maximum loan in our area of $271,000.
